Who we are
Formed in 2006 as a textile restoration company, specializing in the restoration of personal property after a disaster. In the years since, Clear has expanded its offerings based on client requests to a full service restoration company and a Pre & Post Disaster Consulting Firm. Clear is a recognized national leader within the Emergency Response industry.
Clear is uniquely differentiated among its peers. Starting with an extremely well-educated staff deploying leading engineering and science strategies to return you and your team to preloss conditions as rapidly as science will allow. As one of the few full-service restoration companies in the markets we serve, Clear serves as your single point of contact managing all aspects of your loss.
Clear’s Pre & Post Disaster Consulting team works collaboratively with all facility stakeholders including your insurance carriers to develop your Emergency Response Plan that can be accessed from a smartphone.
Clear’s staff follows an extremely stringent process for your specific loss. Each loss is different and Clear’s leadership team, maybe the most diverse in the industry, develops the execution plan and distributes the plan to your Clear team technician/s via a smartphone so there is no ambiguity to our execution.

Clear’s headquarters is located in central Maryland which serves the Mid-Atlantic region. Our location in Miami, Florida serves Miami-Dade and its surrounding counties. On a case-by-case basis, Clear has provided disinfection, restoration, and consulting services nationwide.

Our Leadership Team
Chip Cunningham
Leading a successful Restoration company is in Chip’s DNA. Chip’s dad Les is one of the industry’s most recognizable influencers. Chip formed the foundation of what is now Clear in 2005. Additionally, Chip has relentlessly pursued industry knowledge and holds the vaunted Triple Master designation from the IICRC. Chip is a graduate of the University of Colorado and earned his Master’s from Columbia Business School.
Vince Scarfo
Past GE, FedEx & UPS executive Vince Scarfo accepted a position with Clear in late 2021. Vince has vast experience in managing all aspects of business and has held P&L responsibilities at all three companies. He is engineered and Six Sigma trained and brings that attention to detail to Clear for your benefit. His business acumen places the client’s needs first in building a well-managed business.
